The Central Presbyterian Church - Raisner Family Memorial Scholarship Fund
Becky Raisner, a 50-year member of Central Presbyterian Church, established this scholarship fund to help members and dependents of Central Presbyterian Church members to achieve their educational goals. The Central Presbyterian Church Scholarship fund was created in 2021 for the purpose of providing a means of financial aid to a high school student who is a confirmed member, or a child or dependent of a member(s) of Central Presbyterian Church of Massillon and pursuing first year post-secondary education at an accredited college, university, or technical school. The scholarship shall be awarded primarily based on financial need, with consideration given to performance at the secondary education level and demonstrate of readiness for post-secondary educational pursuit.

Eligibility Requirements:
Student pursuing first year post-secondary education at an accredited college, university, vocational or technical school (NOT GRADUATE STUDENT)
AND
Misc. question: Students who are active at Central Presbyterian Church in Massillon, Ohio
OR
Children of active member of Central Presbyterian Church in Massillon, Ohio
OR
Dependents of active member of Central Presbyterian Church in Massillon, Ohio
AND
High School GPA Minimum: 2.5
AND
County of Residence: Stark County
Applicants are required to complete application online at Stark Community Foundation. All applicants and information contained therein will be kept confidential.
The students can apply online beginning January 1, 2023 at https://www.starkcf.org/grants-and-scholarships/for-students The deadline for applications to be completed is April 1, 2023. A selection committee of Central Presbyterian Church members will review all the applications and select the recipient for the scholarship which will be awarded by May 15.
