Door Ministry

The Door Ministry is the largest mission of the church. The Door Ministry is open Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30am – 11:30am. We accept up to 10 people to be served each day. We have between 15 to 20 volunteers who serve on a regular basis who serve.

The Door Ministry provides emergency assistance three times per year to residents with a Massillon zip code, 44646, 44647 or 44648.

The client at each visit can receive one of the following:

• $15 Speedway Gas Card
• $15 Save-A-Lot Gift Card
• 10 -Ride Sarta Bus Pass

They also choose one of the following:

• Groceries from our Food Pantry
• Personal care items
• Household items.

Sack lunches are given to each person as well as their immediate family members.  Clients meet with a pastoral care volunteer addressing their immediate needs and optional prayer.
