Study on Poverty

Thursdays in October

Our congregation participates in ministries that address poverty. This study will help us understand both the systemic challenges as well as individual experiences of poverty. It will be a practical study oriented toward how we can cultivate curiosity and compassion as we support our neighbors living in poverty.

It will follow the book, What Every Church Member Should Know About Poverty by Ruby K. Payne. Books will be ordered for everyone who registers at the discount price of $15.

Men’s Group

Mondays, beginning Sept. 14

The Central Presbyterian men’s group will resume on September 14, beginning with a study called “Practice Resurrection”. Meets every Monday at 7:00pm in the Westminster Room. Please join us!

The group will have a kickoff BBQ at the Sibert’s home Monday, August 31 at 5:30pm. There is a sign up sheet located in the Narthex.
